Grub Street is looking for a videographer for their 11th annual literary conference, “The Muse and the Marketplace” on May 5th & 6th at the Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Boston! This is a two day, all-day conference designed to give aspiring writers a better understanding about the craft of writing fiction and non-fiction, inside information about the world of publishing, and thoughtful networking opportunities. Two keynote speakers, Julia Alvarez and Richard Nash, will be present. The interested videographer will be filming each presenter, a few other presentations, and a few interviews!
For all the videographers out there – here’s a unique chance to shine! Grub Street, the second largest independent center for creative writing in the United States, is looking for a film intern for this summer! This will be a project based internship and not require the student to come into Grub except for special occasions. This entails literary events, author readings, poetry readings, and book parties!
If interested in either the videography work or the internship, please contact Laura Bittman for more information!
