PROFESSIONAL OPPORTUNITY: PA on “So You Think You Can Dance”

The EVVYs Are Coming
The 32nd Annual EVVY Awards have begun hiring positions for this year’s broadcast. They are looking for people to fill positions all the way from Camera Teams to Segment Producers to Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe, you name it.

“There are HUNDREDS of positions available, so definitely apply! We would like to emphasize that there is no experience necessary as we are willing to train anybody who is enthusiastic about the EVVYs.

“On Friday February 8 there will be a Rigging Workshop from 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM. This workshop is geared toward gripping and setting lights from a technical standpoint. Students will get hands on training with 12 X 12 overheads, hanging lights from ceilings and other rigging points, setting a backlight using a menace arm, dolly use and some camera rigging. This workshop is recommended to cinematography majors and anyone else who has an interest in a hands-on approach to lighting and camera.
